Immobilization of Camel Liver Catalase on Nanosilver-Coated Cotton Fabric

Nanoparticles have the advantage of a superior surface area to volume ratio, and thus such materials are useful for enzyme immobilization. A silver nanoparticle coated cotton fabric (AgNp-CF) is used immobilize camel liver catalase in present work. The effect loading levels AgNp inside fabrics on immobilization was investigated. results revealed that 6 mL level precursor (silver nitrate, 2 mM) at pH 8 showed maximum efficiency (76%). morphological properties (CF), AgNp-CF AgNp-CF-catalase were characterized by SEM. reusability immobilized tested over ten reuses show 67% retained function its initial activity. Compared with soluble enzyme’s working (6.5), rather broader (6.5–7.0) observed catalase.
